The Ladies' Club was first formed in 1968 after the first Ladies' Open. In 2008, the Grande Prairie Ladies' Open marked its 40th anniversary and is the only two-day stroke play tournament left in the Peace Country. The Grande Prairie Golf and Country Club is proud to have a very active Ladies' Club. We have numerous events and a variety of leagues for all ages and skill levels.
The Ladies' Club offers Tuesday morning golf of 18 holes and prizes at the end of season. It is a great chance to play in a quiet environment with good company.
The Ladies' Commercial League offers an opportunity to play nine holes of golf with friends in a non-competitive atmosphere. Whatever type of golfer you are, you will be sure to enjoy the atmosphere of Grande Prairie's finest deck in town with great food and great people.
The Crown & Anchor League and the Fashionista League are also ideal ways to keep the lady golfer busy for the season.
Ladies' Commercial
The Ladies' Commercial League has enjoyed considerable growth and success and we would like to continue to improve this league with your help and co-operation for 2011.
1. It is recommended that each team have 5 players, however a minimum of 4 players are required each Tuesday.
2. Both 9’s will be made available each Tuesday for a maximum of 32 teams. We will alternate 9’s from week to week, but your tee time will remain the same throughout the season.
3. Green fee passes will be offered to all league players at a greatly reduced rate from our regular 9 hole fees.
4. Tee times may vary within 30 minutes of your preferred tee time.
5. First choice of preferred tee times will be given to the teams that register early and have paid in full.
ALL TEAMS MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO THE LEAGUE PLAY START DATE.
